Drill Steps

Position yourself in North-South.

  • Control opponent's hips.
  • Keep their elbows away from ribs.

Isolate one of your opponent's arms.

Walk your hips to the side.

  • Lean your weight onto their face.
  • Scoot your hips closer.

Bring your feet in close to their body.

Lean back and swing your near leg over their hips.

  • Step your foot on the mat for support.

Keep your elbow tight on their arm.

Grab their elbow with a wristwatch grip.

Bridge your hips up to finish the lock.

  • Lift their elbow as you hip up.
  • Apply pressure similar to a heel hook.
